Google slap down date for new Pixels
A mere day after Apple sends out its invites for the new iPhone 15 event, Google slaps down a date for new Pixel smartphones in standard fashion as the tech giants jump on each other's backs in order to drive up excitement for this coming Autumn's announcements.
Back in early May we were treated to the unveiling of the Google Pixel 7a, the Google Pixel Tablet, and the Google Pixel Fold. But things change very quickly in this technology dependant world, and now it is time to direct our attentions toward the Google Pixel 8 and the Google Pixel 8 Pro, as speculations over specifications are closer than ever to being signed off as fact or fiction.
Key details from the leak
Now Google didn't exactly give too much away, so nothing as of yet has been formally announced. Still, this hasn't stopped the information of the new specifications from being leaked all over Twitter. Sorry, we mean X. Click here to have a nosey at what the Google Pixel 8 will supposedly be bringing to the table.
Pixel 7 imperfections
The Pixel 7 wasn't exactly perfect. There was clear room for improvement, such as the problems with the battery overheating and slow charging times. These were the most problematic issues, and there is hope that these problems have been addressed. You'd really hope so, considering the prices are expected to jump quite significantly - but as we all know that isn't always the case.
Guess we'll find out for definite on October 4th, Ameegos.
